The Blues were born in the American south in the early 1900’s and has influenced other genres of music like Rock n Roll, Jazz, Folk, Pop, Hip Hop, and Country. Some of the best selling Blues artists such as Lead Belly, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, BB King, Etta James and Howlin’ Wolf¬† are still selling well and remain strong influences in today’s music scene.
